Events To Bring Your Dog To

As the colored leaves turn the world into a painting and the temperature begins to fall we find

ourselves longing for a warm cup of tea next to a cozy fire with a large good book. Gone are the sunny days of fun outings with big walks along the creek followed by a BBQ. As we settle into the comfy season we may unexpectedly notice the sounds of barking in the air. Shoes that once were never chewed now have bite marks and lay out of place. Is that an accident on the rug?!?!? What is happening?!?!? If your dog isn’t as keen on the changing season and routine they’ll surely let you know one way if not another. Our dogs need to not only release their energy every day, but also need to stay socially active to keep an open mind to new people, noises, places and animals. To avoid unwanted behaviors in the home and reduce reactivity outside stay active this November with Tupelo’s busy Event Schedule!!

These are just a few of the social events that Tupelo has to offer this November that allow

space for our canine best friends. This doesn’t include places like Crave, Strangebrew, or other establishments that offer patio seating so you can keep warm with your cup while your pup enjoys rewards and watching people pass. The cooler weather is no need to halt your hikes either!! Maybe just shorten them with one of these pawtastic choices:

Ballard Park-2629 W Main St, Theron Nichols-1743 Mitchell Rd, or Music Bend Trail-99 North veterans Blvd. There is plenty of fun to be had on these trails without taking too long to get back to the car.

Don’t forget that Petsmart, Petco, Lowe’s, the Dog House Pantry, Joanns and Tractor Supply would all love to see you walking around staying social this season!!

As you see those Tell-Tail signs of unwanted behavior sneaking into the house be the first to

keep your dog from taking steps backward in training by staying social and positively rewarding their experiences. By staying active with our canine best friend we are helping to reduce fear while interrupting unwanted behaviors as we boost learned behaviors to relieve energy in a focused way which creates a valued bond. Don’t worry!! The cuddles by the fire will be just as important once they are exhausted so let’s see what November has for our pups in 2023!!
