As you shake off the winter chill and hop into the events that spring has to bring take your best friend with you to these Dog Friendly Events!! There may not be space for those fantastic furry paws everywhere, but they are welcome to enjoy these fun shows as well as the other parks and places listed below.
Dog Friendly Places in Tupelo:
Events are Pawtastic!! However, spring is in the air right now!! Can that puppy energy wait?? Here are a few locations to help get that energy out as needed and depending on the place you may find a tasty treat for yourself to enjoy with your outing. Tupelo offers something for everyone with the historic downtown providing an enriching walking area any time of day. There are several parks located throughout the city giving access to all as the need to explore grows with the blossoms. Happy Tails!! Tupelo Bark Park is a leash free park with separate yards for the large and small dogs. There are rules posted for everyone’s safety and a chain link fence. If the leash free is a bit crowded, the Music Bend Trail is right next to it with a nice long trail that winds around a disc golf course. There are also longer trails nearby for those that need to stretch and go for a bigger walk. Would you like to take your bestie to dinner? Tupelo has that covered, too!! You could grab a quick bite to go before you head to bed or relax on the patio with your bestie as the day comes to a close over a good meal with a little live music. The sun is shining and spring is ready for you to bounce into fun with your favorite pal!! Take a peek at what Tupelo has to offer for your bestie as you get out there and have fun!!
Before you go… remember to stop by your Veterinarian for any shot updates!! Fleas and ticks may not seem bad but as the rainy season starts so do they. Then again some areas are noticing year long pests with yearly temperature increases. Mosquitoes that cause heartworm also come with the warmer weather. Get ahead of these nuisances by getting your dog the protection they need and continuing those applications as recommended. Taking an extra step is as simple as seeing if your new puppy/ rescue has any seasonal allergies. Yep!! Pollen can be a bother for them too. Now that you are ready for the season have fun!! Happy Spring!!
